Hello! I am PhD candidate in Economics at American University. In my research I explore how the design of institutional structures affect the beneficiaries they serve. My current work includes a study of California's UI modernization and an evaluation of expedited case processing in US immigration court.

I also work at the California Policy Lab and California's Employment Development Department, focusing on projects related to unemployment insurance.

I am on the 2026–27 job market.
